Mass Air Flow Sensor

MAF sensors measure the actual mass of air entering the engine, which allows for a more precise calculation of the correct air-fuel mixture by the Engine Control Unit (ECU). Subtypes include Hot Wire, Hot Film, Vane Air Flow, and Kármán Vortex designs.
